Erin's First Ever Facebook Livestream

A promise is a promise! I said that when I passed 1000 followers I’d get waaaaay out of my comfort zone and do a Facebook livestream and here I am, good as my word.

I’ve set the date for 8pm my time (London) so as many of my U.S. based folks can join, as well as everyone on this side of the world.

I want to make the event as fun as possible so I’m planning a short talk about my work, Q&A time, and a chat about one of my little pet subjects (still to be announced).

There will also be free giveaways! I’m happy to resort to bribery to ensure I’m not there talking to myself. Please join me if you can!

Erin Summers Norman is the author of "The Lemay Leveller" (2015). Her labour of love “Samizdat: A Love Letter” is coming soon in 2025. Erin’s work focuses on the intersections of global history, personal experience, politics and philosophy - the space where personal narratives become political movements.

Erin has written numerous freelance articles and blogs focussing on social justice, women's history, military history and memoir. She has been a local correspondent for BBC Essex radio in socio-political discussions and enjoys public speaking and conversation, both in person and online.

Erin grew up in Missouri, U.S.A. and immigrated to England in 2001. She lives in Colchester, Essex with her husband, son and beloved pets.
